There are currently (The time that I am writing this) four known specials to be released.
This is the news thread for them.
There will be four, 44 minute specials.
Make Your Mark, Winter Wishday, and the other two currently unnamed, most likely to be released in 2023 or beyond.

The Make Your Mark special is out, and I have no words... Be sure to watch it on Netflix!
But anyways, here are some spoilers and theories, dont read this next part if you haven't watched it already. Okay, so... Earth ponies have an extended magic, and I'm assuming that the crystals were not taking anyponies magic, they were taking their happiness, not really taking, but because they were E U P (lol) having fun together, the magic was going to upgrade. It had enough strength to upgrade and magic sorta evolved. Also, some cutie mark magic started working, too, and Hitch can now talk to animals like Ash(Speculation of the future) to pokemon.(Goh said it himself) Well, I have more. Someone I know said that maybe Sunny just has that kind of Allicorn magic because she hasn't claimed it yet, she hasn't made it her own yet, and it might be true but every time I rewatch the moment it happened, I feel like its because she brought together all three pony types, like the other Alicorns, but why she does have physical horn and wings, I considered what my friend said, but every time I see that scene, its like, I dunno. I just dont know. Anyways have a good day and please watch the Make Your Mark special on Netflix, and if you have not watched the movie please do before the Special, and after the movie watch a few, maybe like, 7 Tell Your Tales on YouTube, at least till Mane Melody, and then, watch the Special.

So, there is going to be a "Chapter 2" of Make Your Mark the Special, and, honestly, I saw this coming. It will come on September 26th and also, yet again new Pokemon "movie" coming literally three days before that also on Netflix, which is funny because Pokemon has come out during pretty much the same time as MLPG5 before. Probably intentional then... BTW this is the 100th post in this board. As another random note, what in the entire world was the post above this one? XD I must have been just going crazy like fangirling over both MLP and Pokemon...

Apparently, Netflix is doing something interesting and I'm pretty sure they've never done this before.
Chapter one is the Make Your Mark special, but Chapter 2 will have more than one episode and will consist of eight episodes (to start with). If you think about it, its sorta brilliant.
So, see you in November, where the second special will release. (Nov 21). Winter Wishday! Totally reminds me of the G3 special with the wishing star that woke up too early because of Scootaloo, remember that <?

So, I just watched Bridlewoodstock! I keep calling it Bridlewoodstick XD! It was pretty good, like, not super good and not the best special, but it was good. Kinda disappointed that it's about a music festival, but there was only two songs... Iconic and another one at the end who's title isn't obvious. The first word was "Generations" so, that's what's in my head for to what it's called.

There's 3 bands, but not one song for each. I mean, okay.
Spoilers of course, there is this cool magic phenomenon that happens for a week every... I actually don't remember how often it happens, maybe once a year? I only watched it once, just now. The flowers in Bridlewood illuminate and glow during night (when activated?). When Izzy shows her friends, Pipp is like "I need to plan my festival here!", and so, she immediately starts planning like crazy, but there's obviously something up. The unicorns of Bridlewood don't make noises during the (I don't remember what it's called) time when the flowers glow, because these ghosts called the Troggles come out if you make too much noise. They will steal something, and it wasn't super clear, but when they come during the festival (no surprise there), they steal everyponies voices.

So, I'm thinking, based on the context of the poem that the unicorns have to warn of the Troggles, that they will steal whatever is most desired in that moment or featured among the current activity, which in the case we see in the special, is their voices, preventing them from being able to sing.

On another hoof, while planning the festival, Pipp asks her friends to get some bands and singers to play at her festival. They decide to ask two groups and one solo singer to come to the band, but no further specifications are made. So, when the mane 5 split up and ask each one to come, they all end up convincing them by promising that they'd all be the headliner. It takes them a very long time to realize what they did, and the festival had started by then. Definitely good to make more a plan to make sure this doesn't happen...

Anyways, when the rock band Electric Blue and singer Ruby Jubilee (is that spelled wrong?) arrive at the festival, they off-camera find out that they've both been promised to be the headliner, or at least I assume so, because Pipp tells Zipp and Hitch that they can't both be the headliner. Maybe Pipp just welcomed Electric Blue and they mentioned being the headliner, as Pipp didn't invite them, Zipp did. Pipp and Izzy were the two to invite Ruby, and they told her she'd be the headliner. Electric Blue weren't sure they'd come, until Zipp promised them being headliner. (I don't exactly know what being headliner means, since I'm not familiar with music festival stuff, so I can't use any other words to describe what they're being promised.)

So, as Pipp is telling Zipp and Hitch about that problem, the other group arrives. They are an old band, said to be the original "girl group", that Sunny used to LOVE as a kid. So, naturally, she was the one to invite them, along with Hitch, since his grandma actually knows one of the singers, Minty. I'm glad they brought a Minty back into MLP, since I'm pretty sure G4 didn't have one. The band gets back together, but they can't agree on what to sing, so they can't even finish a single song while practicing. It does work out though, and they arrive at the festival, thinking they're the headliners.

Because that's what Sunny told them. It's actually hilarious because, they manage to convince all of them, separately again, to be the FIRST on the stage instead of being headliners, last. And it took all of this for Pipp to realize that she can also sing, because she's a popular singer. She was like " Now we have no headliner! 😭 " and the others were like "You can be the headliner, you're a singer too."

Ruby ends up going first, and she gets through her whole song, but at the end, she can't sing the last part because the Troggles have come to steal her voice. After they make their dramatic appearance, they start stealing everyponies voices. Honestly reminding me of The Little Mermaid, how convenient with the new live actions movie, hm?

The Troggles start ruining the festival, and Izzy says the whole Troggle warning poem. At the end, it mentions how Rubies could drive them away or something. So, conveniently, they try to grab the rubies that are decorating the stage.
They can't get them off because they've been stuck with extra-sticky glue so that they don't come off. I mean, hey, who knew _this_ would happen? Sunny is able to trigger her alicorn magic, and I'm glad to see she's getting it under control! She does a cool shield-looking spell to knock the rubies off the stage, and they use the rubies to attract the Troggles and once they consume them, they disappear. The voices they stole go back to the ponies they were taken from.

After they're all gone, Pipp goes up onto the stage and apologizes for not listening to the residents of Bridlewood, and for not listening to her friends, and because of that, ruining her festival. Then, she cancels the festival, and starts to walk off the stage, but the unicorns say that it's fine now that the Troggles are gone and they aren't afraid anymore. Everypony cheers foie the festival to continue, and so, they do! They sing one last song all together and then the special ends.

So, it's okay, but not the best. Luckily, there are more episodes to watch, too! I haven't seen them yet, but I will. If you haven't already, you should check them out too. If you're a fan, it might be worth the watch. Twilight Sparkle has some mentions and stuff, too.
